What gets installed

When you first open Eggbun it'll make itself at home and install the dependencies it needs.

  • It'll create a folder in your home folder ~/.eggbun/
  • It'll install bun.sh, node.js, biome, and typescript

Eggbun home folder

This is where dependency binaries are stored and managed. This lets Eggbun manage the versions of these dependencies without it conflicting with your globally installed versions.

The Eggbun home folder is also the default place where your project files are stored and Eggbun's local database.
